XDB series pump can be used only for vacuum pumping for closed systems, such as vacuum packaging, vacuum forming, vacuum extraction and so on.
XDB series pump can work in a wide range of inlet pressure 10Pa-1000Pa. If beyond this range vacuum vents will generate oil mist. The working envieonment humidity should be between 5℃-40℃.
The description of the structure
XDB series is single-stage multi rotary vane oil seal vacuum pump, which is a basic equipment for obtaining vacuum.
XDB series vacuum pump has the following characteristics:
1.Compact, light and attractive in design.
2. Air cooling system, convenient to operate and low maintenance cost.
3. Use of rubber pads on the bottom of the vacuum pump to keep stable running, small vibration.
4. The oil-gas separatores can eliminate small oil mist effectively.
5. Do not need to fuel filling frequently thank to the automatic oil circulation system.
6. The pump is equipped with automatic suction valve. When the pump stops running, suction valve will automatically isolate the pump and pumping system to prevent the pump oil from returing to the pumping system.
7. he pump is equipped with oil return valve, in the form of floating ball, oil return screw( single ball valve) or forced return pipe.
Application

XDB series vacuum pump can not pump to remove water or other liquids, such as explosive, flammable, corrosive gas with high oxygen content. Pump without gas ballast valve can not be withdrawn vapor in the air; Pump with gas ballast valve can deduct a small amount of waster vapor. General supply of motor does not explosion-proof. Other special requirements, if required, the motor must comply with the relevant standards.
Operation of pump
4.1 install
Pump should be placed horizontally. The pump generally may not be fixed. There are metric screws on the shock absorption pad to fix the pump. Do not push pump on the floor, so as not to damage the shock absorption pad.
Pump cooling air inlet and outlet should be more than 30cm away from the surrounding objects, in order to ensure that the pump is well cooled.
Suggest to leave 0.4m gap in front of the pump inlet and exhaust port for easy maintenance. Suggest to install the drain pan for easy oil drain.
Factory can not bring the pump with oil. After intallation, the vacuum pump oil is injected slowly through the filling port to the oil window height.
Note: Make sure that the pump is installedn in a well ventilated environment.
4.2 Electrical connection
Electrical connections must be carried out by a professional electrician. Use appropriate moto overload protection device.
Single-phase 220V50Hz vacuum pump must work under the voltage within the range of 220V±10%. If under 220V, must be equipped with AC power stabilizer. Do not work under low pressure and high pressure for a long time. Three-phase asynchronous motor rotaion must be checked after completion of wiring. The correct rotation of the motor is: the counter clockwise direction of the motor shaft is seen from the end of the motor.
Fully cover the suction port with a rubber sheet (thickness over 4mm), power 2-3 seconds. If spin to the right, you will feel powerful suction plate or rubber is tightly sucked in the suction port. If reverse, swap any two on the power line in three.
Note: Pump will be damaged if in a wrong spin operation for a long time.
4.3 System connection
Inlet pipe cross-sectional dimension should be not less than that of the intake port. The connection length should be as short as possible. The threaded connection with loctite 515 or Teflon tape for vacuum-sealed.
Use vacuum filter if pump draws water vapors.
Check the amount and conditon of the oil before start the pump. Check the rotation before the first start and after the connection of each change. Check the oil level again after starting.
Note: The liquid and solid particles must not be sucked into the pump.
4.4 Operate
Before working properly, the valve should be closed. Operating under extreme pressure for more than 15 minutes is better for water vapor extraction. Do not start the motor frequently. Suggest to install the electromagnetic valve on the inlet pipe for intermittent cycle operation. Shut off the electromagnetic valve when non-operating stage, which can force the pump operating under extreme pressure. The power consumed by the motor is not much, but it can get effective protection.
Note: 1. The oil separator, pump, pump cover and other surface temperature will exceed 70℃, do not touch!
2. Do not refuel through the filler plug when pump is running. Add a small amount of clean oil from the pump suction port.
4.5 Extreme pressure test
The extreme pressure should be measured directly in the suction port with the compression vasuum gauge. The pump should run for at least one hour with the closed air inlet for the first time to use, long-term use, after the use of new oil. Then measure the extreme pressure.
Maintenance
5.1 Vacuum pump oil
XDB series vacuum pump use vacuum pump oil in accordance with SH0528-92 standard. Use vacuum pump oil with ISO-VG320 viscosity grade at ambient temperature of 0-40℃. Use vacuum pump oil with ISO+VG100 viscosity grade at ambient temperature of 10-40℃.
Make sure that the oil level in the 1/2-3/4 of the height of the oil window when the pump is running. Check the oil level and condition frequently (recommend once a week).
5.2 Replace the vacuum pump oil and oil filter
Change oil when the oil is contaminated black, emulsification. Clean the pump before adding new oil.

5.3 Replace exhaust gas filter
Exhaust pressure meter can be installed to check the filter. Replace the exhaust gas filter when the pressure exceeds 0.6bar (table perssure).
5.4 Clean suction filter
Intake filters should be kept clean to avoid pumping speed drops.
5.5 Storage
Get the oil empty and clean the pump. Keep the pump in a dry place.
5.6 Others
Make sure no oil in the tank during removals. Do not hit the oil pipe, oil filter.

Precautions
1、Do not open the fuel tank cap while the pump is running, in order to prevent oil mist.
2、Suggest to use vacuum pump oil or 15#32# machine oil for 2800 rev/min pump.
3、Oil must always be controlled in a predetermined position on the oil window. The maximum oil should not exceed the height of 3/4.
4、Refuel when the pump stops. Do not tighten oil filler plug when the pump is working!
5、The oil shouled be replaced if it becomes dirty, muddy or has water or other volatile substances.
6、If you order maintenance spare parts, please inform pump type and number which is on the pump nameplate.
7、If it needs removing and fixing is sure to have an experienced or professional technician one does it.
