On the morning of May 17, 2025, the inaugural meeting of the Liaoning University School of Business MBA/EMBA Alumni Association was solemnly held in the Cai Guanshen Academic Lecture Hall, marking a new stage in the development of the university's MBA education, integrating alumni resources and promoting collaborative development between the university and enterprises.
Yang, General Manager of SINOBIZ, was invited to attend the meeting, witnessing this important moment with over 300 guests, and shared his views on the deep integration of MBA education and corporate practice.
The meeting was chaired by Li Junjie, a 2002 MBA alumnus and Deputy Director of the Shenbei New District Investment Promotion Center in Shenyang. Huo Chunhui, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Liaoning University, pointed out in his speech that Liaoning University's MBA education, as a cradle for cultivating business leaders, has delivered a large number of elite talents to the revitalization of Northeast China. The establishment of the alumni association will build a virtuous cycle of "the alma mater supporting alumni, and alumni giving back to the alma mater." At the meeting, Han Xuesong, Director of the Office of Cooperation and Development, read out the approval document for the alumni association's establishment. The assembly reviewed and approved the alumni association's charter and elected its first leadership team. University leaders, including Huo Chunhui, presented appointment letters to Honorary President Jiao Yuquan and President Liu Zhongxue.
As an alumnus, Yang, General Manager of SINOBIZ, stated during the exchange session: "The Liaoning University MBA alumni group is a valuable intellectual resource for enterprise development. The establishment of the alumni association has built a crucial bridge for university-enterprise cooperation." He pointed out, based on SINOBIZ's core business of over ten years of foreign trade export, that future cooperation with the Liaoning University MBA program could be deepened in areas such as customized curriculum development, joint construction of internship bases, and sharing of corporate case studies, helping to cultivate management talent adapted to industry needs.
The assembly clarified the alumni association's positioning as "an alumni growth accelerator, a college development accelerator, and a regional economic connector." Han Liangliang, Dean of the School of Business at Liaoning University, reached a preliminary consensus with enterprises. Both parties will leverage the alumni association platform to conduct a series of activities, including "Enterprise Mentors Entering Campus" and "Alumni Enterprise Visits," to promote precise matching of industry, academia, and research resources, injecting the wisdom of the business school and the strength of enterprises into the comprehensive revitalization of Liaoning.
It is reported that the first leadership team of the MBA/EMBA Alumni Association will take the 30th anniversary of the school's founding as an opportunity to create a distinctive "Liaoning University MBA" brand, planning to hold three university-enterprise matchmaking events this year to promote the deep integration of alumni resources and industry needs.
